| Description: Education Resource Center on a working farm. Operation: We operate as an Education Resource Center, The Country Schoolhouse, on our 40 acre grass-fed beef farm, Beaver Creek Farm. We provide agriculture education, as well as homesteading learning opportunities for everyone. We use our farm to help educate families about where their food comes from and how to grow it. Activities: Enjoy a picnic on the farm in October, open house in June and summer camp in July. We also have summer classes in gardening, farm biology and more. Directions: From interstate 59, take exit onto Hwy 589. Travel north 8 miles, turn left onto Luther Lee Road, Travel 1 mile, turn left onto Thames Lane and travel .2 miles where you will dead end into The Country Schoolhouse at Beaver Creek Farm.
