PLEASE NOTE these important instructions:

* All motor vehicles MUST have mufflers.

* All livestock MUST be well groomed.

* All horses and mules MUST have a NEGATIVE Coggins test taken within twelve months of the parade date and health certificates MUST accompany the animal to the parade.

* The City of Jackson also mandates the following: 1) All floats must carry a fire extinguisher; 2) Grills, open flames, glass containers, and portable toilets are prohibited along parade route; 3) Self-propelled and motorized vehicles, including ATVs and golf-carts, are also prohibited along the parade route; 4) the carrying of firearms by any parade participant or attendee is prohibited.

* Final instructions and lineup positions will be sent to the contact person named above by Tuesday, Feb. 10th.

The Dixie National Parade Committee is released from all liabilities and responsibilities for any loss, accident or injury, whether to person or property, arising in any way out of the operation or activities of the parade committee.
