Apprenticeship Coordinator from 6/1/2024 to 8/31/2026
Apprenticeship Program Coordinator IHS is looking for a motivated, go-getter that would like to help cultivate the next generation of young farmers. The Apprenticeship Program Coordinator position offers up to 30 hours a week with a flexible hybrid schedule. Work Location: Marks and From Home Term: 2 yr contract (starting April 2024) Salary: up to $2500.00/month with benefit options Responsibilities: Managing the Program: The Coordinator • Oversees the entire farm apprenticeship program, ensuring it meets organizational needs, apprentices’ learning objectives, and sponsor requirements. Manage the annual recruitment process • Assists with curriculum design and provide/coordinate quality instruction and programming. • Administers measure skill sets through observation and assessments. • Manages apprentices including class schedules, progress reports, and maintaining discipline to keep the program in compliance. • Ensures proper monitoring and maintenance of the apprenticeship, tracking progress and addressing any issues. • Managing the training facility, including that the facility meets safety standards. • Work with schools and other partners to implement program Must have experience working with youth over the age of 14 in a learning environment. Must Agriculture background a plus. Must be computer literate.
