MDAC-USDA Peanut Inspection
USDA Peanut Inspector or Sampler from 8/1/2022 to 12/30/2022
2 Peanut Inspectors Needed and 2 Peanut Samplers needed for harvested Farmers Stock Peanuts (peanuts picked or threshed which have not been shelled, crushed, cleaned or otherwise changed). Potential Inspectors and Samplers will be trained and licensed on the job for USDA Peanut Inspection and Sampling protocols. Looking for hard-working individuals who have computer experience (for reporting inspection and sampling data), a farming background, and can operate or learn to operate mechanical devices such as a sheller, scale, moisture meter, etc. Excellent part-time or temporary position for a college student. Work begins August 1 and ends in December 2022. Deadline to apply is August 1, 2022.
